Skillard's all-aluminum center console for the Nissan 300ZX Z31.

Tired of cracked, broken, faded, peeling center consoles? Now you can have an aluminum replacement that cleans up the look of your Nissan 300ZX Z31 interior. It also allows you the flexibility to drill and securely mount switches, if needed.

The console uses factory mounting holes, so no drilling is required. Mounting hardware is included. Please see the installation video below for more details and information.

Our Z31 center console for the Nissan 300ZX comes with a shift boot bezel that allows you to pinch the base of the shift boot between the bezel and the console. The bezel allows you to use a wide variety of universal aftermarket shift boots (many of which are very inexpensive). New mounting hardware is included. Our Z31 center consoles are offered for the manual transmission as well as the automatic transmission. So what is the difference?

The manual gear shift comes through the transmission hump cutout into the car in the center of the cutout.

The automatic transmission gear selector comes through the transmission hump cutout into the car in the rear of the cutout.

So we moved the opening in our center console 2-inches toward the rear for the automatic transmission version, in order to center the gear selector in the shifter opening. If you're getting the automatic transmission version, the shift boot you pick will likely need to have a tie at the top instead of a grommet since the automatic gear selector has a larger diameter than most manual options.
